With a wealth of knowledge on rock'n'roll music the band endeavour to play their songs with the intention of making you either tap your feet or get up on the dance floor and jive the night away whilst enjoying the music of a much appreciated and well followed era. 'The Downtown Daddyo's' have already received much acclaim from rock'n'roll clubs, weekend festivals, and allday events where they have played and have had superb reviews in the rock'n'roll music press with comments of ......'What a brilliant night ,the band are a breath of fresh air on the circuit', 'Loved all the material you played, and the vocal harmonies were excellent. In 2011 The 'Daddyo's released their first 12 track album entitled 'Smile' featuring songs that became very popular with audiences across Europe.
Following the CD'Smile' The Daddyo's recorded their next CD on the 'Foot Tapping Records' label.
This album entitled 'Enjoy Yourself ' was recorded live at The Embassy Studios, Andover, Hampshire in early 2013. This CD was released in July 2013 and has already proved to be very popular with Rock'n'Roll, Doo Wop, Jive, and Rockabilly fans across the UK and Europe. The band has now become a very popular act across the country and have extensive dates for 2017 playing at rock'n'roll clubs, festivals, corporate events and holiday venues throughout the UK and Europe.
